REFERENDUM!!!

We have been working hard on preparing the referendum details legally to proceed with the action.


If you are not familiar with a referendum, it is a legal action which allows citizens to reject an action taken by their representatives, that they do not agree with.


During this process you will be contacted by a "circulator" (a fellow resident) who has been selected and trained to answer questions and to take your signature FOR the referendum. We will need 1500-2000 signatures for the referendum to pass and then it will appear on the next available ballot.

In this way all SLTWP residents, which INCLUDES THE VILLAGE, can vote on the complete transformation of the west side of Spring Lake, instead of allowing this rezone to be determined by 8-20 people who believe that overdevelopment and managed PUD's are the future of Spring Lake.
